Results

Our effectiveness can be seen in the results we obtain with our students. Our Elementary School students take the California Achievement Tests (CAT) annually, regularly scoring at least one grade level ahead of age and quite often two and three grade levels ahead. But the results that mean the most to us can be found in the attitudes and behavior of our students, as well as in the enthusiasm and support from our parents. Success Stories from Students

Elementary students can't get enough of the reading program! They are now taking weekly trips to the new city library to do research and check out new books. They are giving rave reviews of the books and life lessons. Here's what students are saying about their successes on the Delphi Reading Program:

"At Delphi I improved so much in my reading. Not only did I learn to read better, I actually understand what I am reading now. In my class we have a course called Learning How to Learn. This course helped me understand why I felt angry, had headaches, was dizzy and why my eyes hurt when I was reading. That was one of the things I learned in reading. Another thing I came across was what misunderstood words are. I learned how to clear them up. I also learned that when you pass words you do not know and go on, you are not reading. I enjoy reading now because I understand what I am reading."
