Summer Calendar
SUMMER DAY CAMP at Delphi Academy Santa Monica is a 9-week program consisting of
TWO SESSIONS: Science Camp (June 23 – July 18) and Arts Camp (July 21 – August 22).
There is a four-week minimum enrollment required which can include any four weeks
consecutively.

Summer Daily Schedule
8:15 am – 8:25 am Arrival
8:30 am Every morning begins with Warm Ups and Research
Academic Enrichment (Reading, Spelling, Math, Handwriting, Science)
Outdoor Physical Activities: Our newly renovated playground and basketball court
is the focus of PE instruction and games
Lunch Please be sure to pack three healthy drinks, two to three protein-rich snacks,
and a BIG lunch for your camper!
Afternoon "Summer Fun in the Afternoon"
Read Aloud: Our teachers read out loud to campers from a selection of books designed
to expand their minds and take them to exotic lands
Science Projects: Our staff will have campers exploring and doing experiments related
to the week's theme
Arts & Crafts: Our teachers will instruct your child in several mediums including
watercolors, woodworking, beading and more
Performing Arts: Campers will participate in a musical production in our auditorium,
with singing, dancing, set design and more (Second Session only)
Swimming & Bowling: at Santa Monica College Pool and Bay Shore Lanes (for 7 years
& up) (First Session only)
Water Fun: For our younger campers (ages 4-6), outdoor water play in our playground
wading pool with water balloons, bubbles and more (First Session only)
Beach Trips: to local beaches
Field Trips: Weekly onsite and offsite field trips are scheduled throughout the
summer (see calendar above for more)
